September Blog

Another busy month has flown by at Equetech HQ. Both Liz Hayman our multi-talented Managing Director and Lead Designer and the vivacious Nikki Johnson our Area Sales Representative had a productive and fun time meeting new stockists at the trade show, SPOGA, in Germany. Upon their return it was full speed ahead organising and styling the photoshoot for the Spring/Summer 2017 collection, shot on location at the beautiful yard of sponsored rider Rachael Clark. We were then exhibiting our current Autumn/Winter 2016/17 collection at the Le Mieux National Dressage Championships 2016. Despite being rushed off our feet with some wonderful customers, we still found time to support two of our sponsored riders competing at these championships. Both Rachael Clark riding Daddys Hit and Amy Stovold riding Bo Bo L qualified for the Top Spec Medium Gold Championship posting very respectable scores of 66.88% and 67.88% respectively. Amy also qualified Waldessarini for the Fairfax Saddles Prix St Georges Championship Gold posting another respectable score of 69.92% to come 10th. The pair had also qualified for the Saracen Horse Feeds Intermediate I Freestyle Gold Championship and much to the delight of all those associated with Amy and Waldessarini their flowing and harmonious test earned them a much coveted 3rd placing with 74%.

September was also "Back to School" after the long (not long enough for many and too long for parents!) summer holidays. This combined with the Autumn Equinox heralding the inevitable shorter days and the speedy approach of winter (sorry to depress you) found us thinking about a warm and weather proof winter wardrobe. Not being a lover of the cold and often damp UK winters my personal favourite item of winter wear is the Equetech Ascott Long Quilted Jacket. I can honestly say that putting aside the practicalities, of which there are many; this jacket truly is like riding in a Duvet- Utter Bliss! A customer favourite is the Equetech Trilogy 3 in 1 Jacket. This jacket is the epitome of stylish practicality and an all weather riding/ training jacket providing two layers worn in three ways, the ultimate all seasons waterproof jacket. For those lucky enough to be young enough to still attend school, and for those wishing to stay warm and toasty without compromising on style, the Equetech Junior Long Quilted Jacket is ideal for any discerning fashionista! So, stay dry, cosy and "In Vogue" in the ensuing inclement winter months with Equetech.
