Liz Hayman is the creative designer and MD at the helm of Equetech, responsible for every amazing garment and accessory we are proud to put our name to. Liz originally came from a saddlery background. and even completed an HND in Saddlery Design & Technology, but it was her love of fashion, horses, textiles, and pattern-making skills that led her towards clothing rather than saddles.

In 2005, Liz landed a job at Equetech as an office manager, working there for two years before being offered a fantastic opportunity to purchase the brand.

As a life-long equestrian and horse rider, Liz understands what riders want and need from their riding attire. Passionate about creating affordable equestrian fashion with function, Liz never imitates other brands and focuses on creating unique pieces that our customers will want to wear. We believe all riders should have clothing that looks and feels good, which is why our focus on 'real riders' also applies to our clever design and diverse sizing range. Whether you are a size 10 or plus-size, our inclusive designs are for you.

Liz says;

" I always look at fashion trends and think about what I would like to wear. Our brand is very much fashion-led; however, our garments HAVE to be functional. Taking inspiration from the catwalk is great, but garments need to look good, withstand wear and feel great in the saddle.  There is no reason why riding clothing has to be boring. Equetech customers will have seen our bold signature prints on garment linings, and it's just one of the style details fashionable equestrians love."
