Our Eco-Equestrian Credentials

As a company, we are very aware of our carbon footprint, which is why we continue to review our eco-equestrian credentials to see how we can have less impact on our beautiful planet.

As horse riders, we are connected to nature in many ways, from the horses we care for to the countryside we enjoy hacking within. This blog explains more about what we are doing as a business to support the globe.

Planting Tress

To date, we have planted well more than 5,000 trees via our partnership with Ecologi, all thanks to your support and sales! Giving back something to the planet is important to Equetech and horse riders.

Eco-Rider Clothing 

We continue to innovate and lead the way in eco-equestrian clothing. Our clothes are manufactured to stand the test of time, and we don't create for landfill. We make clothing to fit your lifestyle and cope with the reality of equestrian life in the yard and in the saddle. Many customers have garments they purchased from us ten or more years ago and are still wearing and enjoying them. We only use 'Bio-Down' fill in our jackets, gilets and coats. This fill is eco-friendly, cruelty-free, and superior in feel and performance, a win, win!

Our new Utopia Long Waterproof Coat is our most sustainable and eco garment to date, complete with its BLUEPRINT credentials.

We also incorporate recycled fabrics into our collections.

Eco-Equestrian Credentials That Are Proudly British

As a British company we are proud to be a carbon neutral company. As a net zero equestrian company we have always strived to do better, such as planting trees and transitioning to recyclable packaging, this achievement marks an undeniable milestone in our journey towards sustainability.

Recyclable Plastic Packaging

We swapped over to our current recyclable plastic shipping bags and clothing bags two years ago and never looked back. We are always looking at ways to improve our packaging, and this is something we are periodically reviewing.
