Sponsored Rider News:
Equetech would also like to welcome dressage rider Rachael Clark at Elmtree Dressage to the Equetech sponsored rider family. Running her own yard in Buckinghamshire, Rachael currently has a team of horses competing from Young Horse Classes up to Intermediare 1. She has numerous qualifications under her belt having attained her Pony Club 'A' Test back in 2010, then her UKCC Level 2 in 2012 and she is now working towards her BHSII.
Rachael had three horses qualified for the BD Winter Championships at Hartpury in April but due to Millie (owned by Carolyn Alston) having a mild lameness she was only able to contest two of the three classes entered. However, she gained a fantastic 2nd place in a hotly contended medium freestyle class with Emma Gausden's Otto on 72.78%! Unfortunately Rosie, also owned by Emma Gausden decided that she didn't quite want to play ball during what was shaping up to be a lovely Petplan Medium test by performing a beautiful rear in the middle of what was a super half pass! Sadly this meant that she dropped down the placing's. With the rest of the test being executed well, the pair managed a respectable top 10 placing. Rachael says "Two top ten placing's at the Nationals, totally chuffed!"
May, will see sponsored rider Jodie Amos achieving one of her dreams, entry to the prestigious Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials, May 4th- 8th. Jodie will be riding Wise Crack who is co-owned by both Jodie and Nicola Coates. We wish Jodie "Good Luck and lots of fun at Badminton.
